One of the most frequently asked questions by non-members (and members) is "How are the MNA dues spent?"

Now that our fiscal year is nearly complete, we are now able to accurately answer this question. The graphs below show net income and expenses for the MNA for the 2009-2010 fiscal year (June-June, barring unexpected expenses this June). The MNA committee chairs did a great job of holding expenses down this year, and increased membership over last year allowed us to begin rebuilding our cash reserves.

NOTES:

• Landscaping: Mowing the front entrance
• Irrigation System: One-time expense to repair the front entrance irrigation system and upgrade to include a rain sensor.
• Utilities: Electricity and water for the entrance. Water usage was down since the system was broken.
• Insurance: MNA liability insurance.
• Misc expenses: Printing, website, and other smaller expenditures
• Directory: Printing cost minus advertising revenue.
